The Elements Community Initiative
As the charitable nonprofit arm of The Elements Group, The Elements Community Initiative was founded in 2007 by Alan Bell, the founder and CEO of The Elements Group. The Initiative now brings The Elements Belong, The Elements Originals, The Elements Frontier, The Elements Journeys, and The Elements Flow together under one community-driven umbrella—connecting access to the natural elements, sanctuary, frontier innovation, curated field experiences, and responsible progress in service of lasting positive impact on people, the natural environment, and the world.
Through this framework, the Initiative supports and amplifies the global and regional reach of The Elements Belong, The Elements Originals, The Elements Frontier, The Elements Journeys, and The Elements Flow—developing and scaling their projects, platforms, and community partnerships while demonstrating the collective power of collaboration.
Its current focus is the City of Chicago as a global model for community revitalization and individual empowerment. At the center of this work is a proprietary “living opportunity map,” elevated with responsible AI to enable engagement by users, partners, and collaborators at a global scale.
